She spent years bringing other people’s beauty brands to life. Then a rupture turned her work into a belief. The body must breathe. This is Kira Zaytseva’s sea-born approach to Calmfidence.
There are people who build quietly, behind the names everyone else recognises. Kira Zaytseva is one of them.
For many years she has worked at the heart of private-label cosmetic production, the exacting discipline of creating and manufacturing skincare and beauty formulations that go on to carry other companies’ names. It is precise, technical, deeply commercial work. Yet to hear her speak about it is to realise she has never seen it as merely commercial at all.
Working in brand production means choosing impact over visibility.

A Language Few Truly Master
Joining the Technature laboratories, she says, was far more than a first job. It was, in her words, “the culmination of nine years of studies and a life journey that meant rebuilding everything from scratch in a new country.”
What has always drawn her to cosmetics is the technical dimension, and behind it something larger still: French expertise, which she considers simply impossible to surpass. For Kira, every product carries a world of craft within it.
Behind every product lies a world of excellence, creativity and innovation that brings together multiple talents and an extreme attention to detail. It is a language the whole world wants to speak, but that very few truly master.
There is real feeling in the way she describes the work. Watching a brand take shape and then succeed, she says, is “an emotion unlike any other”, and above all it is, quite simply, “wonderful to bring beauty into the world.”
But something, she has noticed, has shifted. In an increasingly competitive world, it is no longer only a matter of formula or packaging.
It is about the meeting of two worlds, and the people within them, who need to understand one another and ideally to share the same convictions.
Expertise alone is no longer enough if it is not carried by a relationship of trust, a shared vision, and a mutual determination to build something that lasts.
The Year Everything Changed
There is a moment in Kira’s story where the work stopped being only a business and became a belief. She is candid about where it began.
Three years ago, my divorce became the unexpected starting point for everything that followed.
It was, she says, “the kind of rupture that forces you to look at everything differently: your values, your priorities, the person you want to be.” There was no shortcut through it.
As she puts it: “I had to rebuild myself and to go deep into personal and spiritual development.”
Thalassotherapy arrived shortly afterwards, sitting at the crossroads of a professional opportunity and a deeply personal one. What struck her was not novelty but coherence.
What struck me immediately was how it offered something rare: a single, coherent answer to the many exercises, disciplines, and specialists I had been working with to reconnect with my body. The sea had already been holding all of it together.
That realisation is what put her name and her energy behind O’Mineral. For Kira, this was never only a commercial venture.
This is not only a business. It is a belief: that the body must be allowed to breathe, to absorb, to recover.
And bringing that kind of restoration into the world is, she believes, “in itself, worth everything.”
The Body Must Breathe
The body must breathe.
Her message is unusually simple for someone who has spent a career inside an industry built on complexity. Movement, rest, and energy reflexology all belong to it, each one a way of returning the body to itself. But of all the practices she holds, it is thalassotherapy she places at the very top.
Thalassotherapy is a genuine therapeutic and preventive discipline, built on the use, within a dedicated coastal setting, of seawater, the marine climate, and marine algae.
It is drawn on to ease the musculoskeletal system, to support physical recovery and a return to wellbeing, and to work on the body at the level of its deepest functions. By easing stress and fatigue, it is also understood to strengthen the body’s own defences. For Kira, that is what makes it a natural and powerful answer to modern burnout.
Her own regeneration follows the same logic. It is not a crowded stack of routines but one coherent thing, the sea, holding everything else together. That conviction runs straight through O’Mineral, the marine cosmetics brand, made in France, born of rigorous innovation and research within the Technature laboratories.
Its formulas concentrate the finest marine, plant, and mineral active ingredients of Brittany, designed to belong inside a complete wellbeing ritual rather than to sit alone on a bathroom shelf. With O’Mineral, she believes, marine cosmetics made in France becomes far more than a skincare product. It becomes an act of consciousness.
It becomes an act of consciousness.
Brittany, My Second Country
Ask Kira where she feels most fully herself, and the answer is immediate.
It is not a boardroom or a laboratory.
It is a coastline.
Brittany is my second country, the most beautiful region in the world. Every time the plane lands at Brest and the door opens, that iodine-laced air hits you before anything else. As if the ocean is already working on you before you have reached the shore.
What the sea does for her there goes well beyond the surface.
The ocean there purifies. It clears. Not just the skin, but something far deeper.
That, she says, is what home has come to mean: “a place where you are allowed to simply be.”
What Calmfidence Means to Kira Zaytseva
Asked what she would say to a high-achieving woman who arrives at her exhausted, Kira resists a single neat answer, because every story, she insists, is unique. But she does not hesitate to name what she has learned.
What is happening to you is not an accident. It is an invitation.
The exhaustion itself, she says, is not the failure it feels like. “Your exhaustion is not a failure. It is your body and soul finally saying: ‘What about me?’”
After years of giving, she believes, the turn that matters is the one back towards oneself.
She says it plainly: “It is time to turn towards the one person you may have forgotten: yourself.” And that turning is not a single grand gesture but a habit. “Learn to love yourself, not as an idea, but as a daily practice. Listen to your body. Trust what you feel.”
She is clear, too, that the road back need not be walked alone.
You can walk this path alone, and there is real value in that. But it becomes so much deeper and richer when you find the right person to walk with you: a true psychologist, a spiritual teacher, a personal coach.
There are no shortcuts, and she will not pretend otherwise. “There is no miracle solution. The more you have set yourself aside, the longer the road back may be, but it is worth every single step.”
In the end, she returns to acceptance and trust. “What matters most is learning to accept yourself fully, and to trust what is unfolding, because nothing that is happening to you is without meaning.”
For Kira Zaytseva, that is where Calmfidence lives. Not in the appearance of the body, but in its quiet capacity to breathe, to recover, and to be treated as a priority rather than an afterthought. It is the movement she keeps returning to, and the one she invites others into: from depletion to flow, and home to the self that was there all along.
Life is so beautiful.
